Traralgon Community Toy Library

In response to the recent bushfire tragedy Traralgon Community Toy Library is
offering free membership to those families who have lost everything in the fires.
The free membership will be valid until July 2010, and includes waiving of roster
duty requirements and the roster duty levy.
The Traralgon Community Toy Library is a volunteer run, not for profit service which works like a book library offering a variety of toys that can be borrowed by children from birth to 8 years of age. The attraction of a toy library is that
children do not get bored with the same toys as they can be swapped regularly.
Parents and carers have the luxury of borrowing a variety of quality toys to suit
all interests and developmental stages.
The toy range is extensive and includes slides, bikes, puzzles, dress ups, games, indoor and outdoor toys, musical toys and lots more. It is easy to join and when asked, members comment that it is wonderful to see their children experience that special buzz of new toys every time they borrow.
The TCTL is situated at the Kath Teychenne Centre and is open during the following times; Tuesday 10:00 am to 11:30 am, Thursday 10:00 am to 11:30 am and Saturday 9:30 to 11:30 am. Call into the TCTL during opening times to have a look or for more information phone Karen on 51955595 or Simmone on 51749258.
TCTL Committee extends our heartfelt condolences and thoughts to the members of our Toy Library family, and to the extended community who have suffered tremendous losses as a result of these devastating fires.
