Tasmanian Fencing Volunteers

24 Jul 09

Over the last few months, I have taken part in several discussions about the volunteers who come up from Tasmania, and help us with the fencing.

There was a surprising amount of misunderstanding about the roles that these good folks do, why they are here, how long they are here for, are they getting paid, etc. etc.

So, in an effort to clear the air, I have pinched the text of an article printed in the Latrobe City Community Recovery Newsletter (Issue 1, July 2009). That issue of the newsletter is under the News and Updates section, entitled Traralgon South & Districts Community Newsletter, Issue 1.

And, speaking of fencing and volunteers there is an article about the Deloraine Apex Club fencing volunteers. That article is under the In Our Community tab, entitled Deloriane Apex Club.
