CFA Fact-sheet on bunkers and other subjects of interest

Recently, there was a hearing of the 2009 Victorian Bushfire Royal Commission concerning Fire Bunkers and residential fire shelters.
This was in addition to some news items publicizing some cases where people survived the firestorm because they had access to shelter or a bunker. So, it is timely to publish a fact sheet published by the CFA in March 2009 it concerns a fairly wide range of issues, not just bunkers.
We hope this fact sheet helps to clarify some doubts and issues. If nothing else, it is a good guide to show what the CFA, DSE, CSIRO and other bodies have been thinking about.
