A few bits and pieces...

----------------------------------

Great news, the Army Cadets are coming back. With the success of the previous visit, they have committed a return visit to assist landowners continue with their rebuilding efforts...

Watch this space as more information comes forward and the application form becomes available. Real Soon...

The date has been set for the 28th & 29th of May when our mountain will once again be covered with these wonderful volunteers..

----------------------------

Blue VBBRA Card holders are now able to access the Latrobe City Transfer Stations to dispose of waste from their properties for free!!

This refers to hard waste that is related to the bushfires and all green waste matter.

Unfortunately, this does not include burnt green waste as there are currently no facilities available in the Latrobe Valley to dispose of this.

----------------------------

Not wanting to sound negative, but a word of warning.

There have been reports of thieving going on in our community!!

Hard to believe, but either way, we are asking people to keep the look out for any suspicious activity.

Importantly, if you do see anything that does not seem right, try to get the vehicle registration, the time, date and location and report to our local police.

Hopefully, we can all assist each other in preventing any additional misery that is caused by these dirty rotten thieves.

Volunteer Fencing Program has started again...

Mark Uren has commenced as our local Fencing Co-ordinator and we welcome his involvement.

If you are still in need of boundary fencing and have not registered, please follow this link to the application form.

Mark can be contacted on 0409 001440
